Most anglers are fear of learning new braided knots, especially the older anglers switching for mono to PE line or braided line. PE line have no stretch so re-learn using PE line can be tough. Favorite old fishing reel and rod have to be change for PE or braid ready.
Braid line knots are tie somewhat differently from monofilament . Braided line are smooth and thin compare to mono. i.e. Braid 30lb -Dia 0.28mm and Mono 30lb -Dia 0.50mm
(diameter may varies depend on brand). You can put more line in in the reel compare to mono.
Caution: because of the nature of braided / PE line thin diameter. It may cut your fingers when you try to tighten a knot or brake or loosen the PE line from a snag. I used a fillet glove. Find this work best. Fillet glove that have kevlar woven or steel mash. The PE line will not be able to cut through the glove. That my suggestion.
