To Built A Threader
Line threader are sold mainly as fly tying
tools. This line threader can be used in
Flyfishing, coarse fishing, jigging
Assist hooks, wind on leaders.
Now you can make one yourself, it simple
and very cheap to make. |

Step
1 |
Tool you need:
1) Very Thin stainless Steel fishing wire.
2) 2 small beads.
3) Wire cutter (Braided
Super Scissors can cut wire)
4) Wrapping wire pliers
5) 1in Shrinkable Sleeve. |

You need 1feet or 30cm stainless Steel
fishing wire.
Place the wire at lower area of Braided Super
Scissors, That the curve in blade for cutting
wires. (it can cut up to 60lb) |

Step 3 |
Fold the wire into half. Used a pliers to
pinch the tips as flat as possible. |

This step is crucial, As
you can see the tip is widen to "A"
shape, The left move to the right and right
to left. It will stay apart. There is a purpose
for this part. When you use the tool you see
the purpose. |

From the tip 1in below, bend a small kink
on both side of the wire. see image. |

To make the handle, About the beads any
types of beads will do.
Place the wrapping wire pliers 5in way from
the tips. see image above. |

Bend the tag to form a loop. |
|
| Step 8 |
With the loop form, do the barrel wrap by
wrap the wire a few wraps. This will lock
in the beads Than cut off excess tag. |

With the wrap done, next prepare the shrinkable
sleeve. |

| Step 10 |
Insert the shrinkable sleeve , make sure
it long enough to cover the beads and end
loop. |

| Step 11 |
Next Heat the shrinkable sleeve with a lighter.

| Step 12 |
Finally- This is the complete product. DIY
Line Threader Tool. I make this took in about
10min. Now you can start making you own jigging
assist hooks, wind-on leader, thread your
bobbin.

To make a wind-on leader make the tool longer. |
